A surfer caught a wave, a photographer stood on the pier, and a perfect moment in time was captured in Manhattan Beach, CA … and now you can enjoy this eternal moment on your wall anytime you want to be swept away in the feeling of exhilaration that comes from riding a wave, and being at one with the ocean, even if just for a moment. The unique composition of this image is what really stands out. There is a soft rose gold glow from the setting sun in the background that lights up the buildings along the coast, as well as the sand of the shoreline. Below that is a smattering of beachgoers as they take one last opportunity to wade into the water before this summer day is done. The veiny texture of the water as it works hard to form a swell, draws the eye down the center of the image to the cresting, white wave. At the base of the wave, which is the foreground of the image, a lone surfer leans back to catch his balance as he finishes his ride on his turquoise blue surfboard. This is a 28" x 37" image on 30”x40” paper, sold unframed. The paper is Hahnemühle Photo Rag, and is made from 100% cotton. This is archival, museum quality paper with a smooth surface that is completely matte (zero shine). The bright white cotton allows for the colors to be at their truest, and the shadows at their fullest, which creates a wonderful contrast that will stand out on your wall! This image is offered as a limited edition of 8. Each piece is hand signed and numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. All images are processed at a fine art photo lab in Los Angeles. When you order a fine art photography print from me, it will be carefully packaged so that the print remains in pristine condition.
