About The Artwork

Imagine a green watercolor painting in which I have depicted a little girl with a battered face. Her eyes are full of fear and pain, and the delicate watercolor strokes convey her vulnerability and tragedy. The predominant green shades create a dark yet captivating atmosphere, highlighting the contrast between her innocence and the brutality she has faced. This painting was inspired by my fight against violence towards women and children. I aimed to draw attention to this crucial issue, using art as a powerful tool to express the pain and suffering that often go unseen. The image of the little girl symbolizes many innocent victims of violence and calls for action and compassion. My goal is not only to deeply move the viewer but also to remind them of the necessity to fight for the rights and safety of all women and children who have become victims of violence. This painting will serve as a strong focal point in any interior, prompting reflection and action.

I am a professionally trained illustrator and fine artist with about 7 years of experience in illustrations, drawings, paintings, and graphic design for promotional and educational purposes. I also produced commissioned artwork and realistic paintings for brochures, portraits, logo designs, and character creations, as well as artwork restoration from the modern day to the 15th-century creations. I also have experience copying and painting orthodox icons. I love the creative process and have been painting and drawing since a very young age, often exploring both light and heavy topics that deal with social, psychological, philosophical, and cultural issues. I left my beloved Ukraine, fleeing war, in hopes of building a new life in Canada. I am looking for full-time, part-time, or freelance work in the creative industry. I am proficient in a variety of media, including oil paint, pen, pencil, pastels, watercolors, acrylic paints, ink, and mixed media.
