A is for Apple Drawing

"A is for Apple" is my tribute to a childhood memory: the very first class in the English language, which opened the door to international opportunities. I hopes that this work inspires viewers to learn something new and move forward in life. I used professional quality fine soft pastels, a tribute to the blackboard chalk used in the classroom. The solitary apple is an indicator of a lived individual experience. The style is Impressionism, because the learning experience for each individual is unique. This pastel painting is done on acid-free archival quality Canson "C" à Grain paper made in France. It ships in rigid waterproof packaging, the painting protected by a sheet of glassine and sandwiched between foamcore boards. The painting has to be framed by passepartout and glass.
